Today, the Works has eight cafés throughout New England and still operates on its founding principles: Good food for great people and a better planet. The year was 1988 and we served delicious, traditional bagels and other healthy foods sourced locally. The Works Café got its start right here in Manchester, Vermont. Located in the heart of Manchester, there is no better place to grab a bite to eat. Leave the cooking to Charlie’s for your birthday party, Sunday sports get together, and more – think platters of wings, sandwiches, cakes, and cookies. We also offer catering for your special event or party. Need something for dinner, don’t forget to ask about our family dinners ready for you to take home, like a Manchester‘s original chicken pot pie. For those who are in a hurry, our grab and go cooler is filled with freshly prepared salads and sandwiches.
