The antiquated HVAC was noisy enough to drown out the drunk party next door, which I overlooked, but really. Or at least by being around other smokers they brought that aroma back to the room. I feel for certain that some guests may have smoked in the casino and then returned to a smoke-free room and with clothing reeking. Certainly most may think what does that have to do with the hotel, well, I can tell you that the smoke permeates everything. I noted a few notices around the property that they are/were planning a hotel upgrade to be done this fall, but really is that an excuse for torn furniture, scrapes on the walls, and carpet that made me shudder sometimes? The other major issue is that it is a smoking casino. I think that the three stars are more for the fact that at least it is accommodations, and they did meet a minimum expecation in some ways, but dear, dear, the physical shape was bad.
